Over 20+ years of manufacturing experience in Los Angeles has allowed us to refine a 5-stage technical pattern making methodology designed to protect fashion brands from costly mistakes during mass production.
Stage 1: Technical Analysis & Fabric Behavior Audit
We review your design tech packs, reference garments, or sketches alongside your selected fabric swatches. Our team tests GSM weight, stretch recovery percentages (warp and weft), and post-wash dimensional stability before placing the first digital stroke.
Stage 2: Master Sloper Construction (2D/3D)
Our master pattern makers draft the baseline pattern (typically Size Medium for Men’s or Size Small for Women’s). Using 3D CLO software, we assemble the digital pieces onto realistic digital avatars to evaluate fit, balance lines, seam fall, and mobility constraints.
Stage 3: Physical Toile / Fit Sample Creation
Once the digital rendering passes inspection, we cut a physical muslin or prototype sample in our Downtown LA facility. The fit sample is checked on live fit models and dress forms to audit armhole comfort, collar lay, and stride ease.
Stage 4: Grade Rule Application & Multi-Size Scaling
With the master sample approved, we apply custom or standardized grade rules across your full size range. Unlike automated "blind" scaling, our technicians adjust grading ratios at critical stress points (bust, hip, shoulder slope) to preserve proportion integrity across all body types.
Stage 5: Marker Generation & Factory Data Package Export
We compile the final digital marker plots, cutting room instructions, piece counts, and DXF files into a turnkey production package compatible with any cutting facility worldwide.
